Credit Manager / AR Accountant

Key Responsibilities in Credit Control and Accounts Receivable
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoice generation, payment allocation, and account reconciliation.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue balances, initiate collection activities, and resolve outstanding debts in a timely manner.
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients, recommend credit limits, and perform ongoing risk analysis.
- Prepare and deliver regular AR and credit management reports to senior finance stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and finance teams to address queries and ensure a seamless client experience.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process for Accounts Receivable, ensuring compliance and accuracy of all records.
- Implement and enhance policies, controls, and procedures to minimise credit risk and optimise cash flow.
- Respond promptly and professionally to both internal and external finance-related enquiries.
Required Skills and Qualifications for Credit Management and AR Accounting Roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (essential).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or related finance/accounting position.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Clear and effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams and levels.
- Strong organisational skills; able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
