Office Manager & HR Administrator: Your Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming work environment for all employees, visitors, and partners.
- Coordinate office facilities management, including supplies, vendor relationships, and workplace safety requirements.
- Serve as first point of contact for facility- and HR-related queries from staff, ensuring prompt and helpful responses.
- Administer HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, absence management, and maintaining up-to-date employee records.
- Support recruitment coordination including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and preparing new starter documentation.
- Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant information to the finance team.
- Promote a positive, diverse, and inclusive workplace culture through supporting company initiatives and events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Health & Safety, GDPR, and legal employment standards.
- Manage confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and sensitivity.
- Collaborate with management on office and HR projects to improve processes and employee experience.
Office Management & HR Administration – Key Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in office management or administration, ideally with HR responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral, and confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and Health & Safety practices preferred but not essential.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
- Ability to build positive relationships and contribute to a collaborative culture.
