German-speaking PMO Project Coordinator in Sofia
Workster is partnering with a leading global technology and professional services firm to recruit a German-speaking PMO Project Coordinator for its international operations in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Join a diverse and collaborative project management office supporting large-scale programmes across Europe. In this role, you will support project governance, coordinate project activities, track progress and risks, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.
Your Role
Support the PMO in the coordination and administration of multiple concurrent projects across the programme portfolio
Maintain and update project plans, schedules, milestone trackers and Gantt charts using project management tools
Collect, validate and consolidate project status reports, metrics and progress updates from project teams
Coordinate and organise project meetings, prepare agendas, capture minutes and track action items to closure
Support risk and issue management activities, ensure registers are maintained and escalation paths are followed
Assist with change control processes, ensuring documentation and approvals are recorded accurately
Prepare standardised project documentation, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dependencies are identified and managed
Support onboarding of new project team members and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and templates
Your Qualifications
Fluent German (C1 or native level) and strong English skills (B2/C1) - both written and spoken
Previous experience in a PMO, project coordination or administrative project support role within an international environment
Good understanding of project management methodologies and lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid)
Proven ability to produce clear and concise project documentation, reports and presentations
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet) is advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across international and cross-functional teams
Problem-solving mindset, proactive attitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines
Relevant certification (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM) is a plus but not required
Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Project Management, IT or related field is preferred
